Taking place between 20-22 October at the ACC Liverpool, this landmark event is a unique opportunity to bring together policing and industry, to build connections, ensure we have the right partnerships in place and showcase some of the cohesive work taking place to drive innovation and modernise policing.
The summit being jointly hosted by the National Police Chiefs' Council's (NPCC) Digital, Data and Technology and Science and Innovation Coordination Committees, in close collaboration with the Office of the Police Chief Scientific Adviser and the Police Digital Service.
During the event, a series of plenary and demo sessions will take place, offering insight from those leading the charge in what are complex and contentious areas, including; AI, facial recognition, data reform and cyber. The winners of the NPCC Innovation and Digital Awards will also be announced, with new categories such as Excellence in Science & Technology Leadership and Enabling Diversity & Inclusion in Science & Technology.
After the policing workforce, technology is the biggest spend for our service. The committees and the extensive list of partners who are expected to attend this summit are ideally placed to help policing invest in the right science and technology, at the right time, to drive efficiencies across policing and improve the service we provide.
