The College of Policing expect to open the bursary scheme (subject to confirmation of funding) on Monday 11 March 2024 and close it on Thursday 4 April 2024.

The College of Policing's bursary scheme supports officers and staff who are undertaking, or who wish to undertake, undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications. Courses need to be with a recognised UK academic institution and must include a research component.

Eligible applicants can apply for up to £2,000 per year for up to two years of study: a maximum of £4,000. The 2024 scheme covers academic years September 2024 – August 2025, and September 2025 – August 2026.

The application form and guidance will be available from 11 March 2024 on the College of Policing’s bursary scheme webpage. Applications will need to be endorsed by the applicant’s line manager and Learning & Development (L&D) lead.
